Updated: PixelJunk Monsters T-Shirt Contest!

A while back on Playstation.blog, they had a contest to win a couple of shirts with the PixelJunk Monsters logo on it. Well, I entered as soon as I heard about it and I happened to win. The shirts arrived this past week. The contest was for a short story about how PixelJunk Monsters brings people together. Here is my winning entry:

Ever since the first trailer and screenshots of PixelJunk Monsters came out, my 7 year old son has loved this game (OK, me too)! I love being able to spread the joy of gaming to my son as well as teach him strategy and the Co-Op mode allows me to do just that with him! There's nothing like coming home from a hard days work and asking if he'd like to play PixelJunk Monsters with me. We'll sit on the couch and go at it, sometimes with each us tackling half the board, or one of use building while the other upgrades. My favorite moments are the "Oh no!" moments when a monster breaks through our defenses, inching ever closer to our precious little flock, threatening to prevent us from going for a rainbow, while we both try our hardest to get fix the "hole" and kill off the rogue monster. Its always interesting to see the strategies that his 7 year old brain comes up with, and more surprising when the work way better than I thought. Thank you for making a game that brings a father and son that much closer together.
